LIFEPAK 1000 Battery Features

This replacement battery has a test gauge. You can quickly check how much charge is left. Press the gray button below the battery icon. Four lit LEDs show a full charge. Always confirm that the battery is fully charged before installing it in your AED.

This is a single-use, non-rechargeable battery designed for low maintenance and long-term reliability. When kept in an unused defibrillator, it can last up to five years. With proper care, it offers about 17 hours of active use or around 440 shocks.

The kit includes a discharger that makes recycling simple. Attach it to the battery before disposal. Let it drain completely over several hours. Always ensure the battery is fully discharged before recycling.

Proper Replacement Battery Care

To install the new lithium AED battery, first locate the battery icon at the bottom of the device. Then, press the latch to release the old spring-loaded unit. Insert the replacement battery. Check the indicator in the upper-right corner of the display. This confirms it’s installed correctly.

Hot or cold conditions can shorten your AED battery’s life and affect its performance. Store the device in a stable, climate-controlled area. This helps the battery last longer and work reliably.
